THE HAUNTING MUSIC COLLECTION was begun in the 1990's, officially, when a number of Minneapolis, St. Paul area musicians created a variety of spooky music, with Synths and live instruments. In 1998, 2 years after Jon Hyer's Outrageous Media was started, Hyers begun looking for music to sell along with his various Ghost Videos and How To Videos.
10 or so Musicians responded to a newspaper ad, and within a year The Haunting Music Collection was born. In the years since, some of the musicians continued recording music, and the total number of CDs grew to more than 20. Jon Hyers, an orchestral composer has also added a few CDS to the mix, and the MP3 digital files are now the format the music is offered in.
